Process

Applied on GM's hiring site. The recruiter contacted me shortly after to discuss the position and benefits package. They were up front about salary, which I greatly appreciated.

Second phase was a recorded video interview where you are asked a series of STAR-like questions and record yourself giving the answers. There were also 2-3 LeetCode-style questions that had to be answered through a live coding environment. These are not recorded, so you can mess up as much as you need to while working on them.

Third phase was a 2x1 with a manager and a technical person. After introducing themselves and my own intro and overview of my experience, they asked several STAR questions and a few technical ones (this will vary based on what position you apply for).

A few days later, my recruiter contacted me to extend the offer. The paperwork was on the slow side, and they only onboard every other week, so there was a bit of a gap between accepting and the start date.
