Process

Talked briefly to a recruiter at a career fair. Left my resume and got a call to schedule an interview the next day.

Interviewer started by asking me why I wanted to work at GM. Then I was asked three basic behavioral interviewing questions. At the end, I had plenty of time to ask questions.

This was a "preliminary interview." I was told that if I was selected, there would be a second on-site interview with hiring managers.

Questions

Tell me about a time you went above and beyond the requirements when delivering a product to the customer.
