Pros: Good work-life balance if you set boundaries on your time.
Resources are usually available to do what you need.
The culture is rapidly becoming very welcoming and accepting, though surely some pockets still exist where that is not the case.
Cons: I had thought that job security was great, but with the number of layoffs I've seen, it has been concerning. Getting stuck in the wrong job or having a bad manager can make all the difference in your experience.
