Software Engineer Interview Experience - Oshawa, Ontario

Process

10-minute phone call with a recruiter following the STAR-based method. After a few weeks, I got a phone call from them asking to schedule an interview at the Oshawa facility. I arrived that day, and it was a 1-2 hour interview with a panel of dev team members. They asked questions ranging from who you are as a person and past experiences.

Questions

Standard STAR questions on the phone were asked to get a sense of your personality.

At the GM office, they asked about past projects I had worked on and then focused on some programming questions. One of them had to do with reversing a Linked List. Some other smaller questions related to efficiency and working with arrays and lists were also asked.
