When I first interviewed with General Motors, it was for an entry-level role, and honestly, it was a great experience.
The process started with a technical assessment that tested my basic programming and problem-solving skills.
After that, I had a one-on-one interview with the hiring manager. It was very welcoming — they asked about my academic background, any hands-on experience I had with software testing, and how I approach learning new tools.
It made me feel like they were really invested in helping early-career professionals grow, which left a strong impression on me.
