Track Engineer Interview Experience

Process

HireVue questions followed by 2 games. Then a quick 15-minute phone screen, followed by an interview with an engineering project manager and an engineer.

The questions were simple enough, but the interview itself was very unsatisfactory. One of the interviewers was very welcoming and encouraging, giving feedback and interacting with me. The other just started off the interview extremely disinterested, constantly sighing throughout the interview and at one point picked his ear for a solid 10 seconds. This was very discouraging throughout the interview and distracting, especially from an engineering manager. It was not the kind of behavior I'd ever experienced in an interview or would ever expect to have in an interview.
