I have been at GM for over 20 years, and I can say that the last two years it has changed for the worst. It used to be a great place to work, and I never thought I would ever leave. But now I think about leaving at least once a week. The stress over the layoffs is just too much for me. I can’t stand to be here a year more. Unfortunately for me, retirement is not that close, so I will need to find another job elsewhere.

Layoffs every two months, an ugly performance review system where your boss has to "screw" at least two co-workers if your group has 10 people. This has created competition between peers instead of collaboration. The new HR manager just broke the system, and now I can’t even recognize this company.
