Executive leadership is not being honest or transparent about their decisions. They are laying off good people and citing "changes in the industry" as their reason, putting no effort into understanding the talent they are laying off or how their preexisting talent can already serve these new changes. They'll lay off entire departments.
I agree changes are needed, but your lack of transparency is putting a real tinge in the mouths of your employees, level 6 through level 8.
