Pros

The hybrid work schedule was nice.

Cons

I did a one-year contract with them, then went to work for a direct competitor.

I quickly discovered at GM I was doing my current boss's job for about ten dollars per hour less than I make working for him as an employee.

You spend most of your time at GM presenting what you are working on to different layers of management, and there is a staggering number of clueless middle and upper-level managers at GM who constantly need to be informed what people are spending their time on.

Advice to Management

Get rid of inefficient practices, such as these "dog and pony show" meetings, for managers who should already know what is going on in their departments.
