It was a great atmosphere to work with some very enthusiastic and innovative people. This was in my department, and this was powertrain controls. One of my colleagues had about 8 patents. There was a very vibrant patent filing team activity happening when I was working.
All the resources in terms of books, articles, and the latest technology are open to you through the internal GM website, which are otherwise very closed in other companies on a comparative basis.
This depends on your project, lead, and manager. Fortunately, everything was just about right for me; I felt there was very little work pressure.
Very good on-site opportunities, again depending on a lot of factors. This is specific to my team.
A lot of work gets delayed because work comes from the US. Due to remote access, there is a lot of dependence on US counterparts if your project is US-based.
Have some good advertisement strategies. In spite of having better technology, I think it's the lack of proper communication to the end-users (customers). GM is facing some problems.
