Cons

Leadership change has shifted a lot of focus from insourcing to outsourcing.

Only gave market adjustments to new hires rather than focusing on keeping current engineers, which eventually led to an influx of people leaving.

Advice to Management

Be more transparent with employees. This was apparent when the complete axe of the Arizona IT office was leaked. Focus on keeping at least a decent amount of the really talented engineers you already have happy by keeping pay at market value, which you can easily do.
