When I first came, it was rather decent. I knew every couple of years layoffs occurred, but you get through one wave and then you're fine.
But lately, the stacked ranking and the possibility to be fired twice a year is making things toxic. It's just getting nasty, as it does every time stacked ranking is tried by the data. Low performers should be moved on, but that should be a case-by-case basis handled by the manager.
