Lots of teams to work on. Lots of projects to become a contributor. Lots of talented people there. They were trying so hard to improve.
No meaningful organization. Hired managers from vendors, which misses the chance for innovation. Everything that wasn't Java became my responsibility. Lots of ambiguity. Corporate culture is extinct. They made developers pay for coffee!
Focus on innovation, not repeating what you did when you were an outside vendor.
It was completely conversational, with no technical component. An internal recruiter was attempting to poach me for a series of weeks, and the offer was basically impossible to pass up.
First was an HR screening, and then a technical screening/interview. If I pass this one, then there will be more rounds, maybe around 3-4 look interviews, but I'm not sure.
I just got the screen call. All questions were kind of standard. There were some technical questions asked. The recruiter just took notes. I didn't end up with an offer, but the whole communication was going pretty well.
