Pros

This is a great way to relocate from another city. GM relocated me from my university out of state. Generous annual bonuses.

Cons

Management is not so good. You are not working on cutting-edge IT systems; they are largely 10-15 years behind current technology. You will see a lot of your co-workers and friends leave due to either attrition or layoffs.

Advice to Management

Value the contribution of younger employees. Your current management structure is not working, and your technology is out of date. Maybe it's time to bring in new leadership.
