Hostile workplace. Poor managers. Pay is inadequate for work done. Toxic work environment. Too much corporate "crap". Targeted layoffs are an annual thing.
Be honest with your team; don't lie for the sake of your image. After months of being told I was doing great, I was hit with a layoff because of performance. I was set up to fail and was lied to about my standing.
