Pros

Great work-life balance, solid salary for living in the state of Michigan.

Cons
  1. A lot of the products my team worked on did not see production.
  2. Because of this, our team was laid off due to the projects we worked on not being launched.
  3. High layoff rate in the Auto Industry.
  4. Constant reorgs, leading to disorganization and changing of priorities.
Advice to Management

Use software engineers only for projects that you know will see production.
