Benefits and community. That is about it.

Cons

EGMs use scare tactics, threaten their engineers, and steal their work. Their engineers work like dogs, leaving poor work-life balance regardless of their positioning or hybrid status. They work 10-16 hour days, 7 days a week, and are scared to leave because they worry they won't get better offers. Seeing people still online at midnight with no overtime pay is terrifying. These are pure workplace abuse examples, akin to slavery, and nothing is being done, even though HR knows about it.

Advice to Management

Look into your engineering managers. They are sketchy.
