Pros

Good vacation, decent pay, and opportunities to see some cool stuff for car enthusiasts. A decent place to start or advance a career, but I wouldn't make plans to stay long term.

Cons

Upper management is completely severed from the rest of the company. Most middle management are neutered; they primarily run around and sit in meetings, contributing little. They mostly exist to pass along the bad news from SLT.

It seems like very few of those in charge have any idea what productivity looks like or how to lead, encourage, or focus teams towards a central goal.

Periodic layoffs throw a grey cloud over everything, as does the lack of transparency from SLT.

Career growth can happen as you enter the company but is unlikely to happen from within. There are slightly better odds if you move to a different team.

Advice to Management

Take more feedback from ground-floor workers as to the viability or advisability of certain actions. Shutting down feedback kills motivation.

Focus on team building and fostering a more positive and objective-driven mindset.
