Pros

I had the chance to work with very professional colleagues, from whom I learned a lot. Team communication in my area was smooth, and my managers were always respectful and supportive. GM offers excellent health insurance, and one nice benefit is having the last week of the year off (although it’s deducted from vacation days). Work-life balance overall was reasonable.

Cons

At the higher levels of the company, there was often noticeable disorganization and a lack of clear long-term direction. This led to frequent last-minute changes, shifting priorities, and impactful announcements without enough preparation.

Additionally, salaries are not as competitive as those of other tech companies.
