Pros

At the tech center in ME, there are the benefits of a large company with lots of resources to do good work with, smart people to work with, and lots of experience to learn from. Benefits are pretty good.

Cons

The bureaucracy and careerism are pretty crazy. Many people are so focused on advancing their own careers that honesty and trust are almost completely absent. It's as if every interaction is someone trying to acquire information to use to their benefit—at your expense. It is rare that you encounter someone who is of goodwill and just trying to do the right thing, though there are some, and it's a joy to work with them (albeit rare).

Culture from a few years ago was really positive (or at least seemed so), but has taken a turn downward lately.
