There is always too much work to be done every day, which for someone that struggles to stay focused is a blessing in disguise. The job description 100% lines up with my hobbies, and I love every day at work. Vacation time and benefits are top-notch; in fact, I have too much vacation time, if anything (absolutely no complaints).
Work-life balance is something you need to be proactive about. You could work 80 hours a week and still not finish your workload. Figuring out a good balance for yourself and your compensation/responsibilities is key to not burning out.
