I should have read these reviews before starting the interview process. I got pinged on LinkedIn from the HR guy. We set up a meeting via an online calendar (link via LinkedIn messaging). I got an email invite and met via Zoom. He told me I was technically strong, but it went south with the question he asked (looks like they were looking for a hatchet man). He told me that this question was very important to the hiring manager and that the next stage would be dependent on my answer and how the hiring manager interpreted it. I answered truthfully (see below for the question). I should have listened to the alarm going off in my head.
