I applied through Glassdoor and received an email from the recruiter asking about my availability for an interview on a particular day. I replied affirmatively and inquired about the process, but received no response. My interview was simply scheduled. There was no call from the recruiter to explain the process.
I attended the first interview, which went well. Initially, I was asked to reverse a string. Later, the problem was modified to reverse only alphanumeric characters, followed by test cases. The coding was performed on the HackerRank website.
After not receiving a response for over a week, I attempted to reach out to the recruiter, who seemed unavailable. Two weeks passed with no news. Suddenly, I received another email inviting me for on-site interviews from the recruiter, again without a preceding call.
I replied to the email, stating my availability and asking about the number of rounds. As usual, I received no reply. I had to call the recruiting coordinator again to ask about the process. She mentioned that the recruiter had not responded regarding my availability but assured me she would make a note and schedule my interviews. I suspect that without my call to the coordinator, my interviews might not have been scheduled.
There were four rounds of on-site interviews. All were technical and involved coding on HackerRank again. One round was with a developer who seemed impressed and even commented, "Usually, candidates don't reach this far, and I am searching for questions to ask!" The final round was with the manager, who appeared disinterested in the entire process.
Weeks went by without any response to my emails and calls. Finally, I sent an email stating I had another offer. In response, I received a reply indicating they had found a perfect match!
