I received an email from a recruiter to schedule an interview. I had two phone interviews, and the first one went really well.
For the second interview, the interviewer asked a really complicated question. Although I was able to come up with a solution, I wasn't able to complete it within the given timeframe. The interviewer then asked me to keep working on it and email him once I was done.
I ended up completing an optimized version of the solution and sent him the email. He replied that he would take a look and follow up soon. Well, that never happened.
In fact, when I followed up, neither the engineer nor the recruiter got back to me. The good news is, I will never apply to this company again.
