I applied through the career fair and completed three rounds of interviews, feeling ready for the onsite. Great!
On the day the recruiter was supposed to send me information about flights and lodging, they informed me that the position had been filled. "What!?" they asked if I was okay working at another location. Since I didn't have any other job offers at that moment, I said yes.
They scheduled an interview slot for me the very next day with a vague job description. I was confident because I had passed the first three rounds without issue.
The next day, the interviewer asked me a bunch of technical questions that were unrelated to what I had applied for. It turned out that the position was totally different from what I originally applied for. They let me know that I didn't get it a week later.
Bad experience and a waste of time.
Mostly algorithm questions.
