I think upper management needs to figure out how not to over-hire and then have to lay off everyone to compensate for their lack of planning.

I would like to note that upper management seems to misunderstand what AI is or what it does, and they seem to think everything can be outsourced overseas or handled with AI, and the quality won't be affected.
