Pros

My supervisors were cool. Most of my co-workers were cool, too. Good attitude toward advancement.

Cons
  • Pay rate below industry average
  • Lack of transparency from management
  • Unrealistic benchmarks
  • Shifting goalposts
  • Poor management of and unrealistic expectations toward 3rd party vendors
  • Lack of tolerance toward ADA special needs, particularly being intentionally unclear and then gaslighting employees
  • Customers were frustrated by lack of consistency and transparency. They felt like they weren't being listened to. This carried over to how employees were often treated, as well.
Advice to Management

My immediate supervisors were pretty good, so no major criticism there.

I think upper management needs to figure out how not to over-hire and then have to lay off everyone to compensate for their lack of planning.

In addition, key stakeholders are not kept in the loop about factors that directly affect their job. Even when I had taken initiative to get included in those factors, I was met with stonewalling and silence.

I would like to note that upper management seems to misunderstand what AI is or what it does, and they seem to think everything can be outsourced overseas or handled with AI, and the quality won't be affected.
