As is probably true of many medium to large corporations, the process often takes longer than the task itself. Usually this is for good reason: compliance, security, and reliability.
And management does often push for speeding this red tape up. But the process is still there and can be onerous all the same.
I do think that there isn't nearly enough of an anti-meeting culture. Work can really be slowed down by too many meetings.
Always look for ways to cut down on meetings and paperwork.
An OA was conducted. It was doable, but the SQL question was a little difficult. I couldn't clear the round, but I heard that the interviews were nice, based on DSA, OOP, and resume.
