This company is a great mix of a big tech company and small enough to still feel connected to the mission and other employees.

I think the compensation is fair for the job. Stock options and yearly bonuses make a big difference in total comp.

On-call rotation is fair and not overly demanding.

Overall, the company culture is very welcoming and open to new ideas and experiments.

It seems like the company is not prioritizing effort to have teams meet in person (ever).

There are some year-end parties, but they are company-wide and only available to employees who are already in the area.

If you are not in one of the major hubs, do not expect to meet your co-workers face-to-face.

Prioritizing meeting face-to-face with team members would greatly improve company culture, employee buy-in, and capacity to collaborate on daily work tasks. I feel like when I joined the company, in-person opportunities were falsely advertised.
