I worked at GoDaddy as a software engineering intern in the summer of 2020, where I was placed on an internal tools team. Rather than being "the lowly intern", I was treated just like a newly-hired developer and was given tickets and bugs just like anyone else!
My team was very inclusive. While I had a wonderful mentor who would advise me in the day-to-day, I met with nearly everyone from my team at some point or another to pair-program and learn about their roles.
I was able to see my code get deployed to production and even led deploys on my own! I have grown so much as a developer from this experience and would highly, highly recommend it to others. The company culture was excellent.
The recruitment team works hard to make the internship fun and—in the case of the COVID-19 pandemic—feasible, safe, and accessible for everyone remotely.
I worked from home with equipment sent to me, as did every other intern. The recruiters planned virtual events for the interns to attend and sent us swag! They also met with us frequently to ensure our virtual work was going well. They truly care about ensuring you have a great time.
Altogether, this was an absolutely fantastic experience.
Really, only COVID-19 messed with the internship, and GoDaddy worked around it.

Got to learn a lot from the interview. As a fresher, this was my third interview. The remaining words are just to complete the 30-word policy on Glassdoor. Then, I did not get any opportunity for an interview. That was my last interview.
I applied for the internship by emailing my application directly. I received a response within about a week. The interview process had three stages: * Initial Voice Call – A brief introductory conversation to discuss my background, interest in th
