Senior Software Engineer - Android Interview Experience - Bengaluru, India

March 1, 2022
Negative ExperienceNo Offer

Process

Round 1: Coding

Round 2: Android fundamentals and Kotlin

Round 3: DS and algorithms. One complicated and one easy question was asked. Healthy discussion.

I did not get feedback after the last round, and there have been no answers to calls or emails.

I spent an entire weekend, at least 12-14 hours, building the assignment app. All the effort put in went down the drain for the company. I am highly disappointed with the recruitment team for taking candidates' time and efforts so lightly.

Questions

Don't remember all.

Android:

  • Difference between LiveData and MutableLiveData.
  • Sealed classes.

DS Algorithms:

  • How do you store a tree data structure in a database?
