Pros: Lots of very smart people. It's rare to meet someone there who is just average. The brand has a lot of cachet, and I'm proud to say that I work there. The work in my area is interesting (though, I think that may be more of the exception, from what I've seen in other teams.)

Cons: I feel like the vision is clear at the top, but by the time it filters down to the people actually doing the work, every type-A personality has begun their own little side project to show their support, and no one has the gumption to prioritize and cull the inferior projects. They are proud about taking care of their investors before their employees, which translates into less-than-one-might-think pay.

Pros: Work-life balance, decent pay.

Cons: Bad bonus, bad benefits, no commuting benefits.

Pros: Lots to work on and a huge opportunity to grow. Relevant if you are only starting out your career. Mobility is encouraged and surprisingly easy.

Cons: Not a meritocracy as advertised – you really only get rewarded when there is representation up your division's leadership chain. Lots to work on as a pro is only based on the con of deliberate understaffing. Non-existent work-from-home package if you are not on the revenue side. The firm's policy has in fine print that you are responsible for all work-from-home equipment, which is okay for temporary, one-off situations. But post-COVID, there has been zero firm support, even when people now have to use personal devices for work full-time. Pipelines are being created for minorities into tech, but the firm's culture is not rapidly changing to improve retention.
