The whole process took more than three months. It contained one online coding test, HireVue, and an assessment center. The assessment center included a 1:1 interview. Although it is a software engineering position, it still requires some basic knowledge of finance. I feel the interviewer did not seek a candidate with high-level coding skills. They actually prefer someone with a finance background and qualified coding skills.

The online coding test is quite simple, featuring some basic-level coding questions on LeetCode.

For the assessment center, it includes more motivational questions, such as "Why GS?" It also contains questions about finance, like call and put options.
