The technical interview was very engaging and challenging.
The behavioral interview contained a lot of good questions, but they seemed to care more about the technical aspect—understandably.
However, it would be nice to feel like they cared about both personal and technical skills.

Pros: Good work culture, extremely smart people, great benefits. Generally flexible work hours, including:
* Six months paid maternity leave
* Two weeks paid paternity leave
* Two weeks paid honeymoon for newly married couples.
Cons: Long hours, extremely competitive, so it's very hard to rise up for most people. You need to promote yourself actively; simply working hard is insufficient. They are very cautious about trying new things, so most of your ideas may be ignored.

Pros: The majority of the folks you work with are very knowledgeable, committed, and aggressive in getting work done.
There are no politics at all. Hard/smart work will help you grow.
Cons: None. Folks complain about work and life balance, which I believe is an issue everywhere and not specific to GS.
