Pros

Nice view of the city from the top floor of Warsaw Spire.

Cons
  • No work-life balance at all.
  • Never-ending calls and meetings you don't care about.
  • Your boss doesn't care about technology at all. You may be working with a very old tech stack, and nobody cares about it.
  • Your boss will be from India, the US, or the UK, not Poland. The bottom line is that you will not be promoted to a significant managerial position unless you relocate there.
  • Warsaw is just a back office. Forget about the most interesting projects carried out in the company.
Advice to Management

Learn how to build technology-driven teams from tech giants, not from other banks and financial institutions. Otherwise, nobody will want to work for you.
