Initial call with a TA recruiter.
During the entire 30-minute conversation, the call was monopolized with their own questions, and I was not allowed to ask any of mine.
The questions raised concerns:
The TA was disinterested in my experience and seemed solely concerned with my day-to-day activities. It felt like Gong was looking for an entry-level candidate.
When I inquired about the interview process, salary, hiring timeline, and other essential details, the recruiter became defensive and abruptly ended the call, claiming she had another call to attend to.
I was informed of a salary range between $110,000-$140,000 base salary, with a 10% company-wide performance bonus unrelated to individual KPIs. This offer significantly undervalues market standards.
I would confirm other reviews on Gong here on Glassdoor. The company seems unorganized.
