Applied online and seven months later, received a phone call from a recruiter.
A phone screen appointment was set up for the following week.
At the phone screen, the recruiter first described the position and then arranged a coaching preparation appointment. The recruiter asked questions and then attacked my answers with accusations that I wasn't a team player and was being too excited.
Two weeks later, the hiring manager called and yelled questions at me, which I answered coolly and competently. A week later, the recruiter's feedback was that my answers were all correct but too detailed, as this was not an on-site interview. The recruiter also laughed at how I answered the manager's questions.
This was the most demeaning and insulting interview of my life.
PS: I caught the hiring manager making a technical mistake about databases.
