Their standard process:
Applied online through their website. Was contacted by their recruiter within 3 days for initial talks. Set up the phone interview for the next week, which was technical and involved solving one programming question. Called on-site for 5 back-to-back technical interviews with their programmers.
It was a good experience.
Questions
Calculate the point when the time/space complexity for a merge sort would be as good as or as bad as an insertion sort for given values for step executions.

Pros: - Good for your resume, and it will open doors in the future.
- There are still good people here who want to do the right thing.
Cons: - Indecisive senior management with no cohesive vision.
- Googley culture being replaced with bland corporate culture.
- Constant threats of layoffs.
- Actual conversations being replaced with corpspeak.
- Incompetent HR department.
- Removal of committee-based decisions and the move to stack-ranking results in the return of bias and discrimination.
- No accountability.

Pros: Working with and learning from some of the most brilliant engineers in your field.
Tech talks, visiting speakers, classes, etc., give you lots of opportunities to learn about a myriad of subjects.
Working on some of the most interesting and innovative projects in the world.
Excellent senior management.
Cons: Long work hours -- 10+ hours/day is typical for many engineers.
Middle management is hit and miss. Some managers I've worked with are excellent, others mediocre. I haven't had any managers that I thought were actively out to get me.
