Site Reliability Engineer Interview Experience - Brazil

Process

The first step of the process was a call with the recruiter. They asked basic questions on algorithms and my background. After I passed this initial screening, they scheduled a phone interview with an engineer.

I did the first phone interview and was very nervous. The recruiter called to say that I hadn't considered things like corner and edge cases, but that I had other positive points. The recruiter decided to schedule a second phone interview, and I felt less nervous and performed well.

The recruiter ignored me for two weeks. After I requested an update, they said I hadn't shown enough positive points to be brought for an on-site interview, and I was rejected.

Questions

Recruiter question: What is the time complexity to complete the operation 'x in l' if l is a list?

First phone interview included a question on graphs (BFS).
