One fine day, I got a call from Google engineering. They arranged my first telephone interview a couple of weeks later. It took almost an hour, and it was good.
The interviewer seemed to be in a hurry; he directly started asking me technical questions instead of telling me about himself or asking about me.
Nothing... straight on to technical questions. So, be ready for such an experience too.
