Process

I sent an email to a Google recruiter who promptly called me. After an initial screening, she set up a phone screen with someone from the engineering team. At the last moment, the person scheduled for the interview was unavailable, and someone else called me.

The questions were fairly straightforward.

  • What happens when you type www.google.com in your browser?
  • What are the parts of an HTTP request?
  • How are headers and body separated in an HTTP request?

Given a URL with URL-encoded name-values and a variable, return its value. Now modify the function to handle cases where the name appears multiple times.
