In January 2018, I completed an online coding challenge (Google Foobar).

In January 2019, I received an email from a recruiter asking if I was interested in an in-person interview.

I attended an in-person interview in Cambridge in February 2019. The interview included:

• Four technical coding questions
• A discussion of my thesis (as I am a PhD student)

I completed my coding exercises in Python.

About one week after the interview, I received confirmation that the hiring committee had approved my application. Two and a half weeks later, I received confirmation of an offer in Mountain View, working on Corporate Engineering.
