The interview process involves four technical interviews, with a fifth sometimes added.
The interview focuses on your ability to design solutions and solve complex problems.
At lower levels, the focus is extensively on algorithms. As you interview for higher-level positions, the focus shifts more towards design versus algorithms, though algorithms remain very important.
Questions
One of the questions I remember being asked was to design a data structure to hold a CPU cache, including satisfying all its requirements. Other than that, there were standard engineering questions focusing on algorithms.
