Software Engineer Intern Interview Experience - Germany

Process

Two phone interviews (back-to-back) with software engineers. The discussions were purely technical, covering topics such as mathematics, algorithms, data structures, and distributed applications.

For the programming tasks, algorithms had to be implemented in syntactically correct code (the programming language could be chosen; I opted for Java).

The interviewers are always interested in an optimal solution. If the runtime is suboptimal, or edge cases are not considered, one should improve their algorithm accordingly.

Questions

Vor allem typische Fragen zu Datenstrukturen und Algorithmen, wie man sie in Interview-Büchern oder auf Webseiten findet.
