As a new graduate, a recruiter contacted me – I believe she obtained my details from a workshop held at our university – and asked if I was interested in an interview. I agreed. As this was my first technical interview ever, they were very helpful, sent a lot of material, and had an engineer call me to offer assistance.
They maintained contact, and a day before the interview, the recruiter felt I needed more time and granted me an additional week to prepare.
The interviewer was very nice, but I didn't have much time to prepare and was nervous, so I didn't perform well in the coding skills section. They mentioned that everything else was great (analytical skills, and so on) but that I needed to practice coding more.
I don't remember much, but there was a question involving a hash table.
