Software Engineer Interview Experience - Moscow, Russia
Process
I applied online. The process took three weeks. I interviewed at Google in November 2015 for a Software Engineer position.
There were two interview rounds, each 45 minutes long. The interview was conducted by sharing a Google Doc, which made it a bit more difficult as I had to align the code myself.
They were looking for clean, readable, and documented code. They also expected candidates to consider different test cases that might arise in the assigned problem.
Questions
Basic algorithmic questions, such as reversing a string in-place or counting ones in the bit representation of a number.
