I had 6 or 7 interviewers in a row, and they all asked algorithmic questions, school-book style. Nothing about my past experience was discussed; all the questions were puzzle-like, covering topics such as sorting, lookup, hashing, and multi-threading. The entire process seemed targeted towards fresh graduates.
After the day of interviews, I felt I had performed quite well. I checked online to see if my solutions were acceptable, and they were. Therefore, I was pretty confident I would receive an offer. However, I was wrong, and they didn't provide any real feedback as to why they didn't select me.
All was expected, but it seemed like they didn't appreciate the thinking and getting to the answer; they wanted the answer right away.
