Contacted by a UCSD recruiter for Google, who found me on LinkedIn.
Took a 2-problem coding exam (1-hour duration). One problem was easy/intermediate; the second problem was more challenging.
Successfully completed the first problem in 10-15 minutes. I did not complete the second problem completely but was close to a working solution. Afterward, I completed a behavioral questionnaire.
Received an email for a phone interview request with a software engineer at Google. I was given two coding problems. I did well on the first one (with some hints) but could not solve the second question.
Did not make it to the on-site interview, marginally not passing and was recommended to reapply in a year.
