Back in December, a recruiter contacted me via email. The message was initially sent to my college email's spam folder, so I scheduled the phone interview quite late to allow for preparation.
A Googler from Mountain View contacted me, and we went over three different questions.
The first question was something I knew how to solve, as I had completed a similar problem a week before the interview. I explained my logic to the interviewer, and we moved on to the next question without writing any code.
The second question involved tree traversal and was relatively simple.
The third question required more input and thought. I wasn't able to answer it directly and asked numerous questions to gain a better understanding of the problem. In the end, I was able to write the program in Google Docs.
A week later, I was contacted for an on-site interview, which I have in a few days.
I marked "No" for "Did you get an offer?" because I have yet to complete the on-site interview.
