Software Engineer Interview Experience - Mountain View, California
Process
I felt the recruiter was kind and helpful.
Two of the four onsite interviewers worked with me and made me feel comfortable. One was a jerk and didn't communicate at all, and the other was neutral.
I was actually a music major who had studied computer engineering as a minor, so I hadn't done any co-ops or technical interviews before interviewing with Google. It was pretty intimidating.
Questions
Three of the questions were about matrices. The first one involved having a 2D matrix and finding patterns in it.
