I was approached via LinkedIn and immediately had contact with a recruiter. After sending my resume and cover letter, I was fast-tracked to a telephone interview and invited in for a tour of the NY office.

My telephone interview was postponed several times, taking about a month to come to fruition. When it did take place, the employee interviewing me was very patient and chose a language I was familiar with to ask questions in.

Many questions were about OO Programming basics and use case scenarios. Unfortunately, I had spent some time out of practice in my existing position, and even I could tell some of my answers were sub-par.
